About Me

My name is Whisky (威忌). I use this name for all my games, which comes from my elementary school classmates mispronouncing my English name Windson as Whiskey. Currently a second-year student majoring in Applied Mathematics at NCHU. I don’t enjoy math and am not good at it either. Recently learning CTF, deploying cloud services, playing with AI, and guitar - a very busy college student.

I support free and open-source software. Proprietary formats are means of locking users in, so I avoid products from big companies like Line, Meta, Microsoft, and Google. Instead, I use open-source alternatives - this kind of software is truly designed for users. First, open-source software is less likely to contain backdoors, keeping your data safer. Second, they typically use open formats, so you won’t have to pay a switching cost when you change software. It’s not too late to switch! Break the windows and embrace the penguin!
